Softening point and penetration of bitumen 85-100
This penetration grade bitumen supplied by Iran Bitumen Co. is pure petroleum grade bitumen. It is manufactured from vacuum bottom by passing hot air. The bitumen supplied by Iran Bitumen Co. is produced from the remains of crude oil after cracking and removing its hydrocarbon. Penetration grade bitumen 85-100 has a penetration between 85~100 desi-millimeter and a softening point between 45 ~ 52C. The penetration grade bitumen 85-100 has a thermoplastic property which is similar to a synthetic resin material which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled. This grade of bitumen 85/100 has very strong viscosity compared to other grades.
